BETA at a Glance
BETA's strength lies not only in words we stand by but, most importantly, through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2020, our Nonprofit Organization realized that by working together as a community, we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch BETA.
What We Do
BETA is achieving more with our initiatives than ever before. We work on many exciting projects in partnership with our donors, the Manitoba government and other nonprofit organizations across Winnipeg to help improve the lives of the disabled, and are very proud of the progress we continue to make. Finding its core in philanthropy, BETA aims to contribute to the Winnipeg community by investing in infrastructure and helping families construct and renovate houses with amenities required by people with disabilities.
Advocacy
At BETA, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the disability issue. Our goal is to create awareness about the lives and the needs of the individuals concerned. According to a survey published by Statistics Canada, among people with physical disabilities, 44.9% need an assistive device or an accessibility feature within their home. We strive to make a difference and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

Our goal is to help disabled people access government grants and funds for those in need. Our added value of BETA being a one-stop shop simplifies the process of getting a home retrofitted through all the necessary paperwork and eligibility requirements from start to finish. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.
Support Services
Our support services network strives to foster development in the lives of people with disabilities by finding support and companionship in their local communities to build wellness and resilience. Our community outreach and year-round recreational programs in collaboration with other charities and non-profit organizations give a new perspective to disabled people to live their lives to the fullest.
